Specifications of the Vintage Bentley.
If you are looking for the definitive archive of the various models/chassis/body types produced during W.O. Bentleys years at Cricklewood, you will have to spend a considerable sum of money buying heavy publications produced by the Bentley Drivers Club, Michael Hay and other boffins (or ask somebody like me who has access to some of the more weighty volumes). Even then you will find the odd contradiction! This is just a basic specification guide. Taking into consideration that all the cars were hand build and of course there was always an evolutionary aspect to building cars, there will be differences between any two cars. Right from the start there were factory racers and privateers modifying cars to suit themselves, those are more interesting in some ways but time and space are limited here!
